Talking Where would one find a camper or tonneau cover for this thing?

Now that is a long bed...

I'd rock that all day long.

not a fan of the bed, but I would love to have the cab. I am a sucker for spot lights.

Re: holy loooooooooong bed batman!

Overall length doesn't look like it's any longer than a long bed crewcab. Just that the extra long bed makes it look alot longer is all.

OK so maybe a dumb question but is that factory ? You would have a hell of a time parking that thing.

Re: holy loooooooooong bed batman!

I like the idea of it, but if it is indeed a '74 it needs the correct grille and hood reinstalled.

Re: holy loooooooooong bed batman!

That would be like backing a Peterbuilt. Cool , I do that every work day.
From just looking at the truck , The frame must be a longer than pickup deal. They state is the factory frame and that it has the Ambulance Prep Package (Hydro boost brakes, Dual batteries, HO Alternator, Search lights)

Re: holy loooooooooong bed batman!

This truck is definitely a custom job as it has a 1973-78 bedside on one side and a 1979-91 bedside on the other.

However, I saw a for sale ad for one in a magazine 20-25 years ago for a 1975 JUST LIKE THIS ONE except it was brown and very low miles. The ad stated that it was a very rare factory option for the 12' bed.

I saw another one about 10 years ago that was white. i think it may have been a 1973-74 Cheyenne as well.

Well spotted! I missed that the first time through. Somewhere, I too, have seen something about 12' beds...thought it was custom though. I wonder if there is a version.

Re: Where would one find a camper or tonneau cover for this thing?

It also has 1980+ mirrors and 1981+ door panels, though the "interior is all original."

I wonder what the SPID label says if it's still there.
