I used some 4" aluminum tubing and hard rubber connections from here...
I haven't completed mine as of right now, been playing with some old heater ideas though. http://intakehoses.com/

Running filter right off the TB. seems to work pretty well....
On the cars we have done there is about a 10+ RWHP to be had removing the 'elbows' in SD mode (without MAF).
