Bed wood?

I have a 65 stepside and am wondering does anybody sell the plans/dimensions for the bed wood?My neighbor is a carpenter and he owes me!I have see the bed wood kits,but I want to build mine out of old barn wood to match the patina of the truck.

No prob. The key note is the lenght 97" in some cases can become costly in good-exotic wood. Sounds like you can have any length you want though.

That's good info about the bed wood and dimensions. I always thought that it was black pine, but the info about the factory rubbing the wood with linseed oil and lampblack made perfect sense.
