Unknown options

I posted this under the suburban section a few days ago, but there is less traffic there. I am buying a 71 suburban 4x4. The spid has some unusual things on it. Does anyone have any idea on some of these options. Here is a picture of the spid.

I think the magnetic plug unit may be dran plugs with magnets, but not sure.

I have no idea what the tag unit, vehicle decalcomani or the assist handle unit are. What do yall think?

Re: Unknown options

The tag unit may just be lights on the bumber for a tag light. the assist handles are just certain handles installed on yours that not all got. But just like a cig lighter not all this was standard back then. I am glad my truck did not get the shoulder belt option i hate them things. No idea on the other unless it was a decal (sticker) they stuck on it some where.

Re: Unknown options

Got me stumped and I have been on here for nearly 9 years.
Maybe was a fleet vehicle, maybe an upnorth.
Maybe someone who got distracted and re listed things over and over.
Someone will chime in. Just ask for the SPID expert. Post a call out for him and you'll get your answer.

Re: Unknown options

Maybe a guard like on the front of a lot of military or foresty trucks. Was common on a lot even correctional institution trucks.

Re: Unknown options

It does have the grille guard or brush guard. Ive heard it called both. I just looked at the army truck thread, and his spid has the same vehicle decalcomani option on it.

The second spid has some of the same options and the glovebox door is the same color. Must be off of another government truck.
