Fair enough. Thanks for that. I was probably looking at $700 for the motor and tranny, so that doesn't seem too far out there. I actually may be trading the drivetrain for a Jeep FC-150.

I know around here, a 454 that's running and can prove it's running before sale sells for $1k to $3K just for the motor and tranny. Also a rust free cab goes for $800 to $1200 depending on the options installed.
