Road trip!
Well, took it out for a little road trip. 1300 miles towing a 5500lb trailer and my 800 lb honda in the bed. Ran like a champ from Arkansas to Arizona. Not one breakdown or problem. 68 C20 with 2005 5.3 and 4l60e. 2 Days of driving for 12 hours. Got about 11 mpg. Still needs a cold air intake setup. My IAC's were running in the red most of the time on HPTuners. Didn't quite get all my body work done in time and painted before I had to go. Had to put a new gas tank in the night before I left. The old one decided to spring leaks on me.
Also, is this a board members truck. Saw it at a house in the Pheonix area. Nice C20 also. |

Re: Road trip!
11 MPG is incredible pulling all that. I can't get out of single digits empty.

Re: Road trip!
Thats why I put a 5.3 in it with 4l60e. Wasn't going to get that with the 327. As for the grass, I don't know how it survives, because I'm wilting every time I step outside.
