I absolutely Love it! The only way it could look any better would be for you to drive it to my house, take the plates off of it and go home!

Re: How about a thread of black trucks; flat, satin, or glossy?

No markers on the front fender ('67 only), but markers on the bed....trim on the grille and large rear window, all hint at it being a '68. The trim was an option for '67.

Maybe Johnny Cash was building Chevy trucks, too.....

Re: How about a thread of black trucks; flat, satin, or glossy?

I thought it might be a 67 w/a 68 bed or a 68 w/a 67 front end because of the marker on the bed.

title says 67 with large window box has to be from a 68 though.

Didn't the 68s have marker reflectors instead of lights?

Been a visitor on this site for years now, been waiting to subscribe first, it's only fair to all, but here's mine. Doing an engine change at the moment, I should be running in a month or so.

Re: How about a thread of black trucks; flat, satin, or glossy?

Here is my 72 painted with John Deere Blitz Black. Materials cost about $50.00 and a couple days of my time. Still a lot of work but I am satisfied to drive it in this condition for awhile since I have to replenish funds.
