69 bucket-o-bolts
I started this build a while ago and since I started the project it has had 3 motors in it. I guess third time is a charm as they say. I had started a build thread on the truck a year and a half ago so i figure I will put a link to it eventually.
As of now the truck is done until I can find the right bed i want to cut up, because i will have to sub floor it. The truck now has a 2009 LY6 gm 6.0 with a monster cam, CC 921 valve springs and CC 7.40 push rods. with the P.O.S. converter i have in the truck through a turbo 350 the truck put down 410, hand calc. that out to a little over 500 at the crank!!!!! I LOVE the LS series of engines, bang for the buck is ridiculous not to mention reliable. [IMG][/IMG] |

Re: 69 bucket-o-bolts
Sorry about the giant pics. gotta learn photobucket a little better.
Anyway the truck has been together for a couple of weeks now and is amazingly powerful, and can actually be a handful to drive if the skinny pedal decides to go to the floor!!! |

Re: 69 bucket-o-bolts
Thanks for all the comments, I love the way the truck sounds. The x-pipe was a bit of a challenge to build, very time consuming. We are enjoying the crap out of this thing. We will be doing a shop tuck logo very soon for our shop, we just have to figure out how we want it. Thanks again for the comment!!!
