rear engine mounts

hey guys, i'm having the hardest time trying to find replacement rear engine mounts. I'm running a 4 speed (possibly converting to NV4500) and was hoping to replace the mounts from the bellhousing to the manual transmission crossmemeber. but i can't find them anywhere. LMC looks like it lists something close, but i don't know if it's exactly what i need. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for this?? Thanks.

Re: rear engine mounts

They are available from any parts store or specialty supplier. There is an upper & lower. Be sure to save the tube spacer that goes over the bolt. They are hard to come by. There is a lock plate that goes under the head of the bolt, but I use a flat washer & lock washer.

Re: rear engine mounts

I got replacement motor mounts from AutoZone here in Ohio, their part number for them is 2282, cost a whopping $6.99

Re: rear engine mounts

Yeah, those are the front motor mounts, not the ones for the bellhousing

Re: rear engine mounts

Any parts store can order them. They just have to go to the paper catalog to look them up. I work at advance, I'll look up the part number for ya tomorrow if you'd like.

Re: rear engine mounts

Ag1972, thanks. All I can ever find are the mounts that look like auto transmission mounts and I thought they were different.

Re: rear engine mounts

I'm guessin your truck is a 2wd or it looks like from the pic. Part number for a 2wd truck is 2378. This number is for advance, but the others should be able to cross it if you have to. And the number is for only one of them.

Re: rear engine mounts

okay, those actually weren't the needed mounts. So... for anyone else in my position, the needed part numbers are 2107 and 2108. someone told me to search for mounts for the 4wd trucks and that got me to the right part. thanks for all the help, everyone
