And how many of us were actually familiar with the term 'crummy'?

Never saw any of those double cabs when I was a kid in the PNW. Mostly Suburban, Carryall, Travelall types. Glad I missed out on that career path, though...

Yes, someone should have looked more closely at Dodge and Ford crew cabs during this era.

In those days work trucks were designed more for function than looks. It's amazing our trucks turned out to be classics in design.
