Newbie saying hi!

Hey all, just bought a 70 swb, at least that is how its registered. I need another project like a hole in the head but I have always liked these trucks and the right one came along. I am a firefighter for Kern County. I have a bad habit of gathering cars since I have the room. Here is some info on the truck.

The truck needs some work but it has had quite a few things done to it already and quite a few new parts. The frame has been painted, all bushings replaced, frt discs, 5 lug. The rear end is trailing arm, the whole frame is very clean with no rust. The motor was just rebuilt, 350, mild cam and the rest I am not sure but it runs strong, TH400r with shift kit. The cab is a factory air cab, no dents and no rust! All the ac parts and interior parts are there. The truck came with new inner and outer fenders, 72 grill surround, new window rubber(frt and back installed), complete kits to redo both doors (seals, felt, etc). Has drop coils in the rear but not sure how much. It came with no bed but I found a fleetside bed with bodywork done, smooth tailgate, rollpan, spray in bedliner. I have to pick up the bed next week. I have more stuff to look through so there may be some more good stuff.

My plans are to get some 3in drop spindles and 2in coils. Then get the back where it looks good. I want to relocate the gas tank, probably a camaro tank with the fill behind the license plate. I was thinking rally wheels but I understand 15s may be a problem with 3in spindles. I would love to get some custom 17in rallys. Probably no trim, not sure on color.

Any comments or suggestions welcome. Pictures to come, not home for 2 weeks.
