Nice craigslist trucks

This is in the Springfield, MO area, thought I'd do a quick search for all of these trucks and see what came up. I know everyone is always looking for a good find. These are all a mixture of good and bad, but still good in a way cause they're the best trucks ever made. I am not associated in any way with these trucks.
  1. 1969 chevy shortbed - $8000 (west plains)
  2. 69 Chevy C10 CST roller - $500 (rogersville)
  3. 69 Chevy truck - $4000 (Springfield, Mo.)
  4. 71 chevy c10 - $2000 (clever, mo)
  5. 1972 Chevy Cheyenne - $12000 (Webb City,MO)
  6. 72 Chevy - $6450 (Rogersville)
  7. 72 chevy 4x4 mud truck (kingdom city mo)
  8. 68 C-10 Chevy pickup - $3300 (Licking,Mo)
  9. '68 CHEVY TRUCK - $850

Hope you all enjoyed looking through!

Wow, some pretty nice trucks around there. I'll add two more when I retire next year!

Re: Nice craigslist trucks

I know it man, it's crazy around West Plains, MO. I go to college there and I drove my old greeny around one day, and it is amazing with the amount of trucks of those year models over there. There are so many enthusiasts there, so I definitely turned heads driving through. Seriously though, these kinds of trucks are everywhere to be found around the corner. I took a stroll through downtown in the housing area and within 5 minutes came upon 4 that were up for sale.

Yep, this is truck territory. Last time I was in Springfield I saw three commuting in the morning and two were very, very nice restos.

Re: Nice craigslist trucks

Lol hey I didn't inspect each one, I just glanced at them. That's like there was a truck I was gonna buy from a guy in West Plains, told me it was a 69, and I didn't think it was because of the side view mirrors, then I checked the VIN and sure enough, it was a 70, haha.

Yeah it really is and I'm glad to be at the heart of it all. I drove through Ava, MO just a little north of here, and you know, my truck is just all original its no slick rod, but I had so many compliments on it from everyone it was unreal. I'm really surprised I haven't ran into a local person on this web site from around here.

Re: Nice craigslist trucks

Daschlange, thanks for posting this. When I see these great deals I realize I did not get as good a deal as I thought I did and to keep looking when I buy my next one. Painful, but good to know. If I'm ever in Springfield I'll be watching!

Re: Nice craigslist trucks

Yeah that one from Webb City is pretty nice. That one from West Plains I almost bought about two months ago. I looked it over pretty good. Very nice under the hood and out, except I like originality. It had early 90's side view mirrors and steering wheel on it. I could change it rather cheap, but the side view mirror screw holes were too wide of a gap. That last one though is pretty cheap for a project truck...
