I'm trying to order carpet for my 82 GMC 1500, and I don't know if it has the large or small hump! How do you tell?? Was large hump only on big blocks???? I'm confused!

Post a pic and we can tell you what you have.

Engine size didn't matter as far as I can tell. It varied with 2wd vs. 4x4 & manual trans vs. auto and the combination of the two.

All manual trans got the high hump. A low hump just won't fit over the SM465.

I have never seen an auto trans 2wd with anything but a low hump but it is possible due to assembly line shortages to find one.

Re: Large Hump, Small Hump?!

My problem now is figuring out where to order from!!! Most distributors are in the USA and the shipping cost just kills me!! Wish I could find a good dealer in Canada......
