I think they make fenderwells for early Novas. Would they work?

Nope, well... at least a set of 1-7/8" supercomps for a 64 nova wont even come close on a 66 pickup.

Re: fenderwell headers?

I can tell you this, a typical custom built header kit with slip collectors and adapter flanges will run around $450 bare add labor and coating and it's and $800 in a heartbeat. Fenderwell headers being slightly easier than a 'down design' under the frame might be slightly cheaper. A set of Lemons custom fenderwell in stepped diameter run a cool $1000 + coating.

i dont wanna loose power by switching to shortys, i want full legnth, but i just lowered the truck another 2 inches on top of the 7 or so inches it allready was, so my header collectors right now sit an inch from the ground, im gonna be scraping on flat ground, and i dont wanna raise it back up. so i might as well get the best of both worlds, clearances and performance, by swithcing to fenderwell headers.

Re: fenderwell headers?

I put a set of these under my '72 C10. Not fenderwell but they should work on a lowered truck since they don't go all the way down. Not shorties but not full length either. They came with 2" reducers and I ditched those for 2.5" reducers. I had to reroute a brake line but that was it. A mini starter would be a good idea but they will clear a stock starter. I had to run a shorty style plug also.
