someone told me that i can get all the info on my truck kinda like a pontiac history report how do i do this?

GM used to send out a packet of info if you sent them your VIN. I did this with my Chevelle but its just some photocopies of general info. The last I heard was that they might be still doing it but charging $50.
I wouldn't bother but if you're still interested you might do an internet search with likely keywords. |

GM does not have any info on your specific truck. GM of canadia did this, but not GM in the US
