Factory lifted & flatbed
Im just wondering what the specs of one of those aircraft towing trucks are, the ones from the army. what types of axles, tranny is it 4 wheel steer. Does anyone have one do they like it? im not looking to buy one im just interested in them.

Saw that this morning! Thought it could make a really cool trail rig/bobber. I just wasn't sure what kind of axles those were. Couldn't tell if they had planetary hubs or if it was some kind of really big full floater assemble.

We had one once on the base I work on when we had F-16s. There is no suspension at all (axles solid mounted to the frame) Geared super low to tow aircraft and bomb trailers.
The bumper weighs as much as the truck or more and there is a counter weight behind the cab. I think one of the Jeep, Ford or Dodge bobtailed tugs would make more sense if you were building a trail rig but the're still cool looking.
