question about blazer door mirrors
mine vanished off the pass side door the bracket is there the other part fell off ..I saw a drivers side one on ebay can I remove the mirror part and put it on the bracket ? stupid question but hey !

Do you have the rectangle stainless sport mirrors? If so, there should be a inner bracket that goes inside the door and if your mirror vanished, you will probably need to dig it out of the bottom of the door with the door panel off, and hold it up in place while screwing another mirror into place. I have bought mirrors more than once..I tend to brake them on the trail..anyway the inner bracket/plate comes with a new mirror

I have the sport mirrors with the bracket on the inside of the door too. I actually used some silicone adhesive on the backing plate inside the door, so if I every need/wanted to remove the mirror, I could without taking off the door panel.
Be sure to check the mirror before installing them. Mine actually came off as I was driving down the road, where the square mirror part adjusts on the post.

Thats actually not a bad idea. I think Id use Automotive Goop brand, its the strongest Ive ever seen. You sure wouldnt want to get any on the threads of the screws though... it would likely be permanent.
