Window Motors
My window motor on my pass. side is going out. I've never swapped one out before, but I've heard that it's a pain in the butt. Can anyone give me some advice on what's the best way to do it? Thanks.

Re: Window Motors
Link is accurate. Make sure you clamp or bolt the arc to the frame before you remove/reinstall the motor. I would go with an AC Delco motor - should be able to buy online for like $25. Just check the connection on the end of the motor before you install it - the last one I installed had a lose connector that caused a bad connection and it took me over a year to track down the problem. I drilled holes in the inside upper door frame and used bent plumbers strap (metal with holes) to hold the window in place when the regulator was removed (the window is all the way up when you remove the regulator).
