Anyone have a 71 3/4 4x4 pass axle?
I need one. Just bought a truck with a broken one
 Not sure what years will interchange....

front axle shaft fits 70 71 72 1/2 ans 3/4 tons. only.
truck and blazer..I have a 72 front blazer rear but axle's are gone. |

It's completely missing. He broke it and tossed it. So I'll meed both. Wish I was closer or I'd buy the whole diff from you......how much for the inner/outer? Brian

So half ton axle would work? I have a 72 blazer front.....

Yes 1970 71 72 front dana44 are all the same..1/2 and 3/4 ton..

I just rebuilt my '72 D44 front axle. They had the small u-joint axles. From what I understand they upgraded to the larger ones towards the end of the '72 production year. You can Mic a end cap and tell which you have, but either set axles will fit a a D44. When buying the u-joints I would take a outer stub to the parts counter, just to make sure.
I have the part numbers if you need 'em.
