Curt's Rod & Custom Lake Park, Minn
Have any of you Minn. or upper Midwest guys bought stuff from Curt's shop? I'm kind of dealing on a Vintage Air package from them and its been rather interesting. I'd like to hear about other's experiences. Thanks.

Hobby if you go with them you'll have to let me know as a friend of mine just got a 70 and will need that in the future and would like to know your opinions. That way all the research is done!

Solver, I had a little longer phone conversation with Curt today and found out this is just a one man operation. I found it curious that he doesn't answer his phone - he just lets his answering mach. get it and then he calls back. He seems to always do it this way. Anyway on a package Vintage air deal for my '67 he takes 10% off list. I suppose that's not too bad, but the customer pays the freight from Texas and that is $40 - $50. He does build a couple cars a year he said. I'd really rather buy from Yogi's in Iowa, but then there's the sales tax to pay although Yogi's will pay the shipping so its probably a wash.

Sounds like a great idea! I grew up in the Perham area so I get down there quite often. I'll PM you sometime when it warms up a little!
