Spindles or Springs?

I want to lower the front of my 70 C-10 about 2". Will I have to clearance my lower control arm using drop spindles? I am running 15" truck rallies. Thanks for your help.

The only 2" spindle I'm aware of is the modular spindle from CPP. Everyone else offers 2.5" or 3".

That being said, what width ralleys? I've used the skinny van ralleys w/3" spindles & trimmed the lip of the lower a-arms w/o issue. 2.5" spindles will offer more clearance but might possibly require a little trim.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

2.5" drop spindles is what i was looking at. The wheels are 15x8.

Re: Spindles or Springs?

if you are only going 2" I would cut your springs or buy 2" dropped springs.
