Amber Alert in California - Need Your Help - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

An Amber Alert was issued last night about 9:00 for an 8 year old girl abducted from Fresno, California. The video shown on the news this morning showed the truck was a square body chevy, red or brown and white. If you are like me, you see every square body that you pass each day. Take a look at the video from the news and hopefully we can make a difference.

The girl is Elica Cardenas. She was last seen wearing a purple Winnie the Pooh Sweater. The suspect is a white or light skinned male, about 6' tall with bald head or pulled back hair.

Call Fresno PD at (559) 621-2239 or 911 if you see the vehicle.

As a human being, and especially as a parent...this kind of **** boils my blood!!

I hope to god they find her alive and safe, and I hope to god they find the abductor and put him away forever. Pedophiles cannot be cured or rehabilitated!

I can smell a sqaure I swear, and if I lived out there, I'd be driving all over looking...

Great news! Too bad he didn't have anything that resembled a gun, because Fresno PD looks for any reason to put a cap in @$$holes like this.

Glad the little girl is home alive. When I hear about crap like this, I'm reminded of the line from Pulp Fiction related to taking the guy apart with a blow torch and pliers. Like life's not hard enough without people like this sh*tbag making it that much harder...

Did yall ever see the movie "Law Abiding Citizen" ? I like what he did to those a-holes. I think pedophiles should be done that way, it is the ONLY sure fire way they wont re-offend.

i moved this to general discussion so more would see it then read she was found safe. I totally agree with the posters who have made their thoughts known as to what should happen to the guy who abducted her if he was a pedophile..

The Fresno PD had a news conference this afternoon. A good samaritan spotted the truck going down his street and jumped in his own truck and took off after him. When he caught up he drove up beside to get the guy to pull over. After a couple attempts, he spotted the Elisa in the passenger side. He drove the guy to the curb. The suspect opened the passenger door and tossed Elisa out and drove away. The citizen stayed with Elisa and called 911. They caught they guy a bit later down the road. He is suspected as a gang member. He was seen in the neighborhood over the course of a few days.

The citizen risked his own life to do what he could to save Elisa. Who else would have risked that? The suspect could have easily had a gun with him as most gang bangers do here in Fresno.

After interviews, it was discovered that unfortunately Elisa was sexually assaulted. The PD said the guy had a couple priors but mainly weapon and domestic violence related.

I hope the suspect finds a real friendly cell mate in prison that will treat him just like the suspect treats 8 year old girls.
