Photos of Trailer/Tow mirror's Needed
I have a 72 Chevy C20 Cheyenne Custom Camper that for the most part is original. The glove box reads that I should have DF2 Cmpr Mirr-Stainless which I don't, I have the small Cheyenne mirrors. Anyone have a set of mirrors laying around?
Please post photos so I know what to look for. Last edited by Bryan S; 10-05-2010 at 05:07 PM. |

The ones on my fleetside are option code DG4 Below-Eyeline Mirror. Mine is the middle option in this link: http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.aspx?Page=78 I think your's has to be the first option.

Re: Photos of Trailer/Tow mirror's Needed
My understanding is that the "west coast" style mirrors were only available on 67-68 models. That was my first thought until I did a little research. I think the camper style is the 4 point mirror.
Hope this info is helpful!

These ain't the best pitchers you'll ever see, but they show a DF2 mirror.

Re: Photos of Trailer/Tow mirror's Needed
Thanks so much for the link and all the info. I just bought the truck and will be using it to tow my vintage trailers with it and need bigger mirrors.

3 point mirror question
It looks like my 1970 cst had 3 point mirrors at one time. Holes are now primered over and it has small round mirrors. They may have been added and removed, not sure. Were they special ordered in 70 and mentioned on the build sheet/spid? Wanting to know how to tell if it had 3 point originally before I restore it...not all that important but I'd like to know...thx in advance.
