Re: clear tail lights
As an active member of the Honda community (gasp!), I find this hilarious! Mostly because it's so true! I hate fart cans and huge wings, they make me sick.
I know it's not a Chevy, but I have a fun little project Accord on the side (2900lbs). I'm building a 250HP 2.2L 4 banger for it. Should be a fun little car, even if it has no torque (wooo 160 lb-ft!). Besides, I'll have my 87' R10 for torque (6.0L swap, here I come). Last edited by foamypirate; 10-06-2010 at 12:54 AM. |

Re: clear tail lights
I put some custom clear lights on mine, which light up red. I added a third brake light license frame. I was told that was the only way I could run those lights...legally. I also added in some custom reverse lights and some license plate lit up bolts. I know some people don't like this setup, but I love it:
According to a police officer I know, ANY red reflector in the rear (doesn't matter where just has to be visible by the person behind you), lights have to light up red, a working set of reverse lights, and having license plate lights will keep you legal....atleast in Houston. I also checked with a local inspection shop to verify what I was planning on buying before I actually bought anything.

Re: clear tail lights
Not really a fan of the clear lenses. IDK why, looks too ricy for me. Maybe with some customization.
