Hot Rod Magazine
Anybody see the Holley Shop truck in the November 2010 issue of Hot Rod? I just got back from my barber's, what a beautiful truck!
 There's also one of ours in the "Rat Rod Riot!" article. Thought y'all may want to check it out if you hadn't seen it yet.

I have always been under the impression that a shop truck is supposed to be of the usable nature and not a $50K + machine.

Custom Classic Trucks ran it; Classic Trucks ran articles about the build in one issue and featured it in the next issue; Hot Rod didn't get an exclusive, but you can bet that Holleys' ad budget hinged on whether or not their truck got some press....

Those wheels are one-off customs. I think they did a great job on the truck.

17's and 18's, if my memory serves me correctly. Call 'em Salt Flat Specials....or something like that. That design has held true, even though the size has grown, since the early Sixties. Originals were magnesium, from Halibrand.

I agree with Oldblue that the wheels are not that great. They are not really a copy of the Halibrand magnesium wheel. Halibrand had small oval holes, but more of a web pattern than a five spoke wheel.
 The Holley truck five spokes look like the steel SS Camaro and SS Chevelle wheel. Year One has a better, modern 17 inch version of the SS wheel that is all aluminum with polished rim edge. The original steel wheel had a stainless steel beauty band on the rim edge. I think this wheel would look better even if it is only 17 inch. The Holley truck wheels are 19 x 7.
