Need some help...4l80 and np208

Ok guys well I just built an 87 chevy pick up with a 5.3ls motor mated up to the stock th400 and np208. I am looking to swap the 400 for a 4l80, I am not worried about the computer or electronics, I can take care of that. I need to know if they will even bolt up though? Should I be looking for a 4x4 unit or 2wd unit?

I talked to Advanced adapters and he seemed to think that there would be some machine work involved, but then I searched online and some guys say they bolt right up! I have searched every forum I can find and seem to get conflicting answers.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks ahead guys! The truck doesnt do to bad now, its got 4.10's and 33's and is getting 13mpg on the highway at about 3k rpms, but it would be nice to get the overdrive.

I am running a 4L60E, and my NP208 bolted right up. I am not sure if there is a difference in the bolt pattern between the 60 and the 80.
