fuel sending unit
Hey guys!
I have a really quick question. I am re-assembling my sending unit on my 1972 Chevy SB Truck and I need to know if the rubber O-ring sits on the tank or if it sits between the sending unit and the lock nut? Thanks for your help... |

Re: fuel sending unit
No I had to use the old one. The one that was sent would not allow me to tighten the lock nut. I will try it again with the new one. What kind of problems will I have if I am not successful at installing the new o-ring?

Re: fuel sending unit
old orings can cause leaks and gas smells due to improper sealing
try putting oring in boiling water b4 installing to soften it up
