This might be BAD...clutch issue....

The lower lever just peeled off the z-bar on my 70 k1500. It looks as if it had been welded up in the past and it gave way. Does anyone make a replacement? What years can I scavenge a swapable part from?

The design of the factory part isn't terribly good, especially if you are running an aftermarket clutch. It would be better to weld your arm back on with an added brace or gusset than to replace it. This way, you will end up with a stronger part than stock.

It appears as if it had been welded in the past and age/metal fatigue have taken their toll. I think my best bet is going to be replacing the z-bar and the pivots on the frame and block.

It's so far gone that there is NO clutch action at all, and I am not sure I want to trust a 2nd or maybe even 3rd weld job to get me home from the woods.
