found this hd hood in a local junk yard.
got lucky and its in great shape and is the same color as my truck

im just having problems getting the right side to align rite, anyone else whos done this had a problem getting it to align rite?

Cant help with the alignment, but I've wanted to do this for a looooooong time, but like you, the only way I would feasible do it would be to find one perfect and the right color....

i just got lucky when it showed up at work the same color. hahaha. i had already bought a quart of paint that i didnt need to use the guy on the phone told me it was grey
