87 GMC heater problems

Does anyone have or know where I could find a diagram of the vacuum layout for the heat / AC system in my truck. I know I have a vacuum leak I can hear it but I cant seem to find it.

Truck is a 1987 GMC 3500 with AC.

Any help or direction would be appreciated

You can spray carb cleaner around the vac. lines until the idle changes. When the idle changes you just found where you leak is.

Re: 87 GMC heater problems

The leak (whistle) is coming from the dash deep in the center behind the heater controls.
Also I know there is a leak or a problem because the defrost vents will not work.
I have the dash pad off and I will be looking into it real serious this weekend, just figured if there was a diagram available it would be a start...........no big deal I will just start hunting through till I see something that doesnt look right.

I will check that selector first though easy enough to get to.

Thanks
