1995 GMC Sierra K1500 joins the family.

I spend about all of my time over in the 60-66 section, but that might change a little. I traded a 1995 4Runner for this one. No major changes just cosmetics for now and general maintenace. I will be getting new tires tomorrow. I will post any changes as they happen.

Thanks for the welcome, Scott. The title says K1500. The doors has 1500 on them. Is there something I need to know?

Re: 1995 GMC Sierra K1500 joins the family.

Nice score Alan!!
I kinda miss my 1990 K1500 ext-cab...

K is 4x4 (88-91 square body 4x4's were V's)
C is 2x4 (88-91 square body 2x4's were R's)
All the K's (4x4) from the 60's up had 6 lug

It's been several months ago, Scott and I became mods at the same time.

Cool, I was wondering about Scott as well as far as being a mod. I haven't been on as much as I use to be. Trying to get back at it.

Got the tires done and installed the CB today. I used velcro to attach the CB. I hope it stays.

I loved my 96 GMC and regret selling it. especially when I see it going down the road. Love that color on yours, but then again I am biased.

No, it's left over from the 70's. J/K It has about 214K and is getting about 13-14 mpg.

Nice looking truck you had there Bill.

It took a few weeks to get some pics. I wanted to wash it, but I cleaned the carpet today instead. The water looked like a chocolate milkshake. There is still enough dirt in the carpet for a couple more shakes.

Thanks, If I remember right they are 285/75/16 Nitto Terra graplers. I need to double check that.

I'm getting 12-13. I'm sure that is better than a 460.
