67 Cab to 70 Doors

I have looked through the threads and it appears that there is no issue with the swap, but wanted to confirm. I have a 67 SB in serious need of doors. I think I have found some (awaiting pics) rust free for $200 for both. Before I drive 2 hours to get them is there any issues on swapping them?

No real big issues, only thing different is the wing window lock, and possibly window regulator shaft length (but I think I may be wrong on that) but yes, pretty much bolt on complete door with no issues.

Re: 67 Cab to 70 Doors

Of course John is right on with the wing window latch. John has one of the most beuatiful 67's on the board.

The 72 window regulator shaft is longer, but the 70 should be the same length as the 67.

The exterior door handles are actually different, the angle of the interior bolts that hold them on is different, but that doesn't matter at all to you.

Re: 67 Cab to 70 Doors

Thanks John, I knew the wing handles were different. I had one broken on my 67 doors anyway. Making my own new door panels, so shaft length shouldnt be a problem. $200 for 2 rust free doors was way too cheap to pass up.

Yeah I do remember reading that before about the exterior handles. You guys never stop amazing me at your willingness to help! Can't wait to get this truck done. If my son is careful I will end up keeping it.
