Crooked Truck
I had my truck in garage where the floor is level and noticed a significant lean to one side. I measured it and there is over a 2 inch difference from one side to the other at the rear wheel well. I got underneath to see if there was anything obvious. I noticed one side had 5 leafs and the other side had 7. The funny thing is the high side was the side with only 5 leafs. My truck is a 72 GMC with rear leaf springs (obviously). Now for the silly question....Is this normal or should I find a new pair of springs?

Not normal. Never heard of mis-matching springs.

I would find a new pair of leaf springs.

I say leave it. See how many people notice.
I'm obviously being extremely sarcastic. Pick one spring rate be it the 5 leaf or the 7 and replace both sides with new. Or take your and have them measured and re arched. Posted via Mobile Device |

It was common on Novas to have a 5/4 staggered stack on the leaf springs
Unsure if this applys to c10's I would just buy a new pair of matched springs and be done with it
