396 or 402??????
On 1972 factory big block trucks, was the 402 listed as a 396 or 402 on the glovebox option sheet????? I know the option was L47, but don't know whether it was listed as???? my first guess would be 396 but want to make sure. what was the option # for the TH400???? M49???? A pic of an original glove box sticker would be great if anybody has one. thanks!!!!!!!

Here is a pic of my 72 3/4ton option sticker. I have never seen one that listed the big block as a "402", it was always "400". I also believe that 72 was the only year that listed it as a "400" and not "396".

 REPO1, Thanks for the info, I learn something new everyday. Never have figured out some of the things GM does?? I work for GM and I know they do some wierd things.
