I did a real haelthey one today at work...put in a fresh set of plugs and couldn't resist doing it since all 8 are igniting now.
Pretty good 35 foot patch...bummer I didn't have my cameray with me. Real funny thing was the boss's son in his little Plymouth Lazer throught he could show me up! LOFL! My tranny kicked into second durring the burnout and kept going...his just stalled when he dumped the clutch! |

I think the second tire started to spin, but I didn't bother going back to look.
If I end up over there tomorow, (I'm off on fridays) I'll see if I can't get a pic. |

As far as visuals...the Distributor is up front, the water pump/timing chain cover looks more like ford 351 C style, it is a little bigger...
Here's a pic of the caddy big block, the small piece of duct tape is covering where the distributor goes, and it goes in at an angle. Notice the huge fuel pump there on the right, and you can't see it from this shot, but the oil pump is external and oposite the fuel pump. Compair to the pic of the Chevy big block here...not that it is a real good pic of one. |

I think my tires must be too big or my breaks are too good to break the animal loose...at least that what I keep telling myself. I may have to try logchaining it to a tree and not use any breaks.

Did you chain the blazer up to that pole? I don't see how you could keep it still to turn them THAT hard.

I swear it's the tire size and excellent breaks! Maybe next time ol blue just need a little help...like with a couple quarts of oil under the tires.

Try bleach. Not only real slippery, but helps with the smoke show too.

Only time I can get my tires to spin, is on the neighbor's lawn!
Actually, I've done it a few times...but not much smoke. Came out of a dirt lot once, gave 'er some juice, and burned 'em real nice, and slid sideways to boot! Was pretty cool! I like gravel more! Not as fun as cement of course, and you could do a burnout in gravel with a ride-on lawnmower, but nothing beats the raining down gravel! Just watch out for others, and their property!

come to think of it, I got looking at the blazer doing a 4 wheel burnout, and it looks to me to be edited with Photoshop! Look how similar the smoke is from rear to front!
Nice Work though
