I went to a car show this past weekend, and saw some nice 67-72's as well as a lot of other trucks and figured I'd post them up. There were some sweet 4x4's too. There were 417 cars and trucks there, and no I didn't take a truck.

I took my 40 Ford. Enjoy.

Here is my 40.

Here I am picking a car for the judging. The judging is done by participants at this show.

This isn't something you see a lot in Iowa in October. We saw this one at 8am in the morning heading to the show, and 2 more that evening coming back home.

Nice general assortment.That Grapefruit & White K/20 Cheyenne is a gem amongst all those modified rides.The only thing I'd change is that later 8" step bumper.

Very good pictures and lots of them . Did you give the 54-55 Vette a good grade? If it was a 54 ,it might of been owned by John Wayne as he was given one to advertise for General Motors because they really wern't selling all that well at first. And all were white..

That 54-55 Vette was actually a newer C6 with a 54-55 conversion nose. It was pretty cool.

There were a lot of cars there that I didn't take pictures of. I didn't even think of taking pics until the end of the day before the awards ceremony.

I as well really like that grape fruit and white cheyenne. I never saw one that color restored and it is pretty cool. I think the color a lone is what makes it for me. You just don't see any that color around here.

I just noticed both the white one, 4x4, and the grape fruit one both have the under side of the hoods painted black. Was that done from the factory as well? Or was it body color from the factory? I'm kind of curious because I'm getting a new hood for my Longhorn and want to paint it before I install it.
