Keep it GMC. I think in the past people with GMCs would change them the to look like Chevys because of the Chevy grills and fenders being so available. Now we have GMC parts to keep our trucks looking like the GMCs that they are.

When I bought my GMC stepside 6 years ago I was going to change it to Chevy because I liked their grills better. Well now I will keep my stepside GMC because there are grills now being reproduced along with fenders and emblems plus I like the GMC grills just as well as the Chevys.

GMC's, especially '67's aren't very common. In my opinion, keep it a GMC! If you go with a Chevy front end and want to sell the GMC grille, let me know!

Bummer they are not planning on making replacement 67 GMC grills.
While I have no pics, I say keep the quad lights, it looks so much better that way.
I'm actually putting a GMC clip on my 70 chevy Longhorn.

KEEP IT GMC!!
Everyone has Chevy and the GMC trucks have a great looking grill to them. I originally wanted a Chevy but when I came across my GMC years back I fell in love with it mostly because of the grill.

well mine is not a 67, but the grill is. I crashed into a tree a while back (long story) and had to replace the front clip. I found one but it was a 67 front clip. Grill was too nice not to put on.

quick question with front and rear baggs deflated below 5", as far as ride comfort, how can you slamm a truck as your truck and always drive it comfortable at this stance is it possible:correct alingment a problem or steering radius. By the way what size tire are you running and the back spaing on those to tuck them under the fenders

your site is well put together for helpful info great looking ride

I agree, GMC's look the best and they are much less common. I bought two in the last month I love em so much (70 lwb, and a 72 swb).

Re: 67 gmc pics

Changing to a Chevy is like turning a GTO,GS,or442 into a Chevelle. The GMC grilles w/o the surround look great with a rollpan.I thought the grilles were reproduced. Before they were,I bought a clean clip just because of the rarity(and I like the look,no hood letters).Anyone have a picture of Tim Christians`67?
Not exactly a`67...no letters in grille,but here`s a custom:

At the other end of the spectrum, here`s a beautiful original 3/4t with great options:

I bought mine specifically because it was a GMC.I like the front end and the fact that you hardly ever see a GMC,their almost always Chevys

I wish the chrome grilles were made from aluminum instead of steel, the chrome always comes off.

Re: 67 gmc pics

Heres my 67 4x4 before I started the resoration, 4 headlights are better than 2 If you think you need a 67 chevy, then get one of them also. That is what I did.
