After nearly a year long process, the Super is nearly complete. This forum has played a huge part in getting this done - from locating parts, to identifying parts, getting wiring diagrams, pictures of how things should look, figuring out which vendors to use - all of it has been a huge help.

I'd like to pay particular thanks to Paul (Duncan and Son), Harold (71 Super), Tom (tkorinek), Dennis (Sharpie), Kurt (Boneyard) for their advice and parts.

I probably purchased parts from 20 different vendors and people over the course of this project, without a single hitch.

And of course I spent hours reading different things and getting ideas, like adding power windows, which drop to use, and stuff like that.

I had a bit of a letdown as the project was wrapping up, oddly enough, because chasing the parts and seeing all of the vision become reality was a ton of fun.

Anyway, here's the before and after. Thanks everyone!

Looks good Zoomin', I know you asked a lot of questions while building it. Glad to see this site proved helpful to ya. If you don't mind me asking, can you take some better shots of the interior. Especially, the power window switch area, as I am looking to try the same thing on the future crew cab. Trevor

Heck no, I don't mind. Nice to be in a position to give back.

These are the only pics I have of the switches now. If there's anything in particular you need, just ask!

It does involve some dremel work to cut the round opening for the regulator to a rectangle for the switch. The last pic shows the template I made. The hardest part was going after those restored panels.

That is an awesome looking resto/mod. Excellent work on the door switches, I am sure you were cringing cutting those door panels.

Sort of. I'm going through my stash of left over parts and figuring out what I can use on this one. It's not going to be an all out resto - more of a fun driver and a little more creativity, leaning more retro / shop truck. Thanks for hauling it all the way to OK from AL for me.
