gas ank on 68 c10

I want to remove the gas tank behind the seat on my 68 c-10 and put one else where. I have been told a blazer or suburban gas tank could be placed under the bed. Has anyone tried this or have other ideas?

Lots of guys have done the blazer tank installs and kits are readily available. I used a tank from a 90 Jeep Wrangler that fit like a glove.

Fuel cell guy tanks ($500 or so are nice)

Summit fuel cells

camaro tanks (try the search, just saw it recently, filler behind tailight because it sat lower)

Blazer tanks

Im running a blazer tank, filler is going to be behind drivers side backup light, crushermechanics idea..(can get pics if interested)

Try searching, 100's of posts on this, loads of info

I went with a CPP aluminum tank. It was a complete kit that included tank with hardware, fuel sender and cool looking flush mount filler tube that sits in the bed. I paid around $550.

Welcome to the board! Be sure and use the search feature. There is a lot of useful information on Blazer tank installs as well as others. Good luck with your project.
