lower control arm shaft need help

alright so i took the upper and lower arms off my 86 dually. i replaced the upper ball joints and painted the arms everything is fine there. On one of the lower arms i can grab the shaft and spin it freely, but i cannot move it side to side. should i just try and tighten it or do i need to rebuild it? i have it all apart and i dont mind rebuilding it so now is the time to do it.

Re: lower control arm shaft need help

If the nuts on the shaft ends are loose or removed, this is normal. If they are tight, you have a problem with the bushings.
