Made a little progress this week on my 72 Cab...

Here is what I started with....
Drivers side:

Passenger side:

Here it is with all 4 cab supports replaced, the inner rockers, and the lower A pillars:

Now, to get it rolled back right side up and do the cab corners and hang the doors to line up the rockers.....

Very nice work! The pictures make it so easy. But i know how bad it can suck as the rust repair is a tough job.

Re: Made a little progress this week on my 72 Cab...

Thanks guys.... I have roughly 18 hours in doing what you see. I done everything I know to do to prevent the rust from starting back. Used about a whole can of weld through primer. The black paint on the bottom is Chassis Saver to try and stop further rusting and to make it look better too....

I wouldn't have even tried to save that cab.

Look's like you did a great job.

Man you did a great job! I am in the process of doing the same thing. Rear cab support has me stopped. Wish mine was off the frame as yours was. Keep up the good work.

It seems like a guy could make a pretty decent living doing this - if they had your skills. Thanks for saving another one from the crusher.
