did ya drive yours today?

Well I did! One of my guys has been on vacation this week, and left the house about 6:30 a.m. My long drive to work is about 6 miles. Topless 2wd Blazer, cool morning, country music on my Ipod. Ride home was just as good. Wife and i went to dinner with a couple of friends we have know since high school. A ride home more country music, and a good cigar. A great day!

Every day! Cruised the Greenway into work at 70, and took a lazy 2 lane home.

Re: did ya drive yours today?

I drove Mine!

Took a half day off work and when I got home I decided to figure out why my defroster wasn't working so well... Found the better part of a mouse nest and found I'm missing the right hand duct completely... Kinda explained why there was little to no air flow...

Every day now. Stopped and picked up my new front driveshaft, hit the junkyard and got a crappy cigarette lighter and came home to put the driveshaft in.

Yep, about 30 miles all told. Roscoe prefers country roads to interstate any day of the week, but, alas, freeway it was today.

I picked up a pair of relays for the headlight upgrade on the Green '67 and got them installed this morning, drove it into town for lunch with a friend of mine and cruised around for a while tonight to test out the headlights. Nice upgrade for sure... Tomorrow I will drive it to Cedar Rapids to the swap meet (about 60 miles). I really enjoy driving the "Farm Truck"...

Re: did ya drive yours today?

I drove mine to and from work today, I even sported a Hawaiian shirt while doing it!
I stopped for gas on my way in, and while I was washing my windshield, a man walked by an said "now that's what a Chevy should look like" with out as much as a look in my direction.
I just smiled & kept on squeegeeing away, the man must of been in his late 60's & when I look over as he drove away,he gave me the head nod.
He was driving a early 70's ford pickup that was "farm fresh".

That set the tone for a great drive in this morning.

Re: did ya drive yours today?

I drove mine in Mo in September behind another truck and it has been waiting to be finished since then. Maybe in November...................

Re: did ya drive yours today?

I drove Old Yeller to go see some Friday Night Lights. The team lost by 6 but I had fun hitting triple digit MPH on the way home.
