Bagging a Longhorn
I know that a few of us on here have longhorns. Has anyone ever tried to bag a longhorn. I am contemplating the idea and thing that it would look sick. Anyone have any ideas?

Good news- YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Bad news- obviously very little info- I do have a picture of just a longbed 3/4 ton bagged from the Goodguys show and one itsy bitsy tiny picture of a slammed longhorn-not sure if bagged or not. Hope this helps and when you do..which we know you will..make sure to do a build thread!

OK now here is the curve ball. I have a 1 ton with leaf springs? The pictures show trailling arms.

I thought about it.....but ran out of coin
 The front will be straight foward(as you know), but the rear is gonna need some different suspension. Maybe set up on a 4bar, or build your own crossmember & go trail arm setup? It could be done, but you no doubt will be doin some fab work CrazyAL

Flip kit. Notch. Remove springs leaves (leave the last 2). Bag over leaf. Done. Your extra 6" make no difference in how the job is done, but may change how much you can haul, if you haul with it.
Post 5 is a picture. Different bags will have different load ratings, but basically the same thing. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...light=bag+leaf So, post up a picture of the Longhorn! Some of us have Longhorn envy, and some are just compensating for something.

Thanks for the info. Definately looking into it. in thery it should work. Here are a couple shots of my first born, need to get some new pictures, some of these are a couple of years old.
