Had a bit of an accident this weekend and busted up the top. Hatch is ok, other the PO repairs but the top has a hole punched through the roof and and the passenger side wall is busted up. Not a good weekend.

So, worth trying to sell or should it have a date with the sawzall?

The hatch is probably the only part with any value.

It's fiberglass, it can be fixed. Probably easier than working on steel body parts.

Hardly worth junking because of those minor issues! Do you have any idea how many corvettes out there have been rebuilt, or restored that had damage 100 times worse than that? Keep your sawzall in the cabinet. LOL!!

So if I threw it on Craigslist with a $200 or $300 price tag that wouldn't be out of line?

I'm not going to repair it, I wasn't planning on ever putting back on my Jimmy anyway. At least now I have an excuse!

I doubt you will get $200 for it. I had one in good shape with 2 small cracks and I finally sold it for $150. But it really depends on your area, so you might be able to get that. You can start there and see what happens. Good luck.

depends how good the hatch is for how much you will get for it. If the hatch is in excellent shape, you'd probably get more taking it off, selling it here and then putting the rest of the top on Craigslist for $40 or so and taking the first offer over free.

I'd buy the hardware for the hatch or the whole thing if you wanted to sell it that way. I'm missing everything to lock the hatch to the top.
