need help running hot wire for hei

hi guys converted over to hei on my 355 in my 69 blazer. just need help running the new hot wire to it. where do i take it in the fuse box and what do I need to connect it? pictures would be great.

Sorry no pics, but you need to connect the wire to the "unfused ign" terminal of the fuse block. to connect it to the fuseblock you use a crimp on 1/4" female spade terminal then you connect the other end of the wire to the +12V terminal of the HEI with another 1/4" female spade terminal. I recommend using a decent pair of crimpers as the cheap ones give a poor connection that can come loose. Also it wouldn't hurt to an inline fuse since the terminal on the fuseblock is unfused. sweet, is the fuse block clearly label for the terminals? sorry i'm being lazy. this ought to be interesting as the truck ran very well when i had the hei hooked up with the original resistance wire.

Yeah the fuse block says "ign unfused" in white letters so it is easy to spot. It should be a pretty easy job.
