3 On The Tree Question

I have a non-synchronized 1st gear trans, which I understand to mean you cant down shift from 2nd to 1st when the truck is in motion, the truck has to be at a complete stop to do so.
So my question is can I have the trans rebuilt with synchronized gears in order to avoid this slight problem?

the answer to your question is NO! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,BUT you can install a later 3spd that is synchronized very easy , it will bolt right up ,,, and they are fairly common ,,,

Re: 3 On The Tree Question

Double-clutching....becoming a lost art.

Drove a Deuce-and-a-quarter with a 5/4 gearbox. Did some split-shifting to kill some time. Fun.
