Serious Modification
A friend sent me these pictures. He saw it down in the Denver area. It belonged to some 80 year old guy that had been driving his 58 for years and couldn’t part with it but wanted the convenience of a new truck.

Re: Serious Modification
Not a bad concept but to my eye, something is just a bit off in the execution. But y'know, I have seen a lot worse, and if the owner is happy with it, nothing else really matters. Good for him for building a truck the way he wants to.

Re: Serious Modification
I like it, I think I would like it more if something were done to the cab some how to help it blend better. Very cool and creative though!

Re: Serious Modification
This truck is actually at the Mollie Kathleen gold mine tour in Cripple Creek, CO. I saw it in person from a distance last July 4th week. It looks to be well put together but still not my style.

It looks like the front of the hood and fenders are going uphill. It looks like it fit together pretty nicely, I bet it wasnt and easy job!

Re: Serious Modification
My only real objection is that the hood must kill forward visibility. Apart from that, it actually looks much better than I would have expected from reading the description.

Pancake or section....either one to remove some excess from above the fender line and blend the contours....I played with it a little...

Re: Serious Modification
the hood is just a cowl induction lol, to me it looks like the front sits higher than the back, but still a pretty nice truck.
