Whats it worth?? 72 suburban
I found a 72 suburban, 98% rust free, been painted once 20 years ago, original big block, factory air, tilt, tach, rear air, cruise control, 2wd,15x8 rally wheels, dry cracked tires, interior is in pretty good shape, paint is oxidized, body is very straight, the truck has not been started in several years.
Elderly owner says it ran good when he parked it. I dont know a whole lot about the 67-72 suburbans, This truck has a bench front seat, middle and 3rd seat,a roof rack, and how do I tell if the cruise control is factory or add on? Also it has upper and lower trim, cheyenne emblems on the fenders. I did not think they made a cheyenne suburban. Help me out guys, Whats this worth??

Re: Whats it worth?? 72 suburban
Got any pictures? Pictures help a ton when trying to guess value. As you have it described, I would say it's "worth" between $2,500 and $6,000.
The paint would be the big factor for me. Sometimes you can save oxidized paint. Let's see some pictures.

Re: Whats it worth?? 72 suburban
I will try to get some pics of it.
The strange thing is, after looking thru 29 pages of suburban pics, I did not see one with upper trim.

Re: Whats it worth?? 72 suburban
If it has upper trim like on a pick up truck then that would not be factory original. The upper trim on suburbans ran directly below the side glass, not on the body panels. As far as I know GM never put Cheyenne badging on suburbans. Instead they were called Deluxe. Sounds like someone may have put a bunch of options onto that suburban over the years. What options does the SPID say the burb came with? As mentioned before pictures would be a great help on determining value.
