Tyler's New Seats

I hope this is the right forum for this...

Anyway, I had to have some minor upholstery work done in my wife's Mustang the other day. Small shop in Jackson Ms. While waiting on her repairs I noticed the guy had a couple old sewing machines in the back. Obviously used them for his upholstery work. I told the guy that I had one of those sewing machines and needed to get rid of it. He and I worked up a deal so that I gave him the machine and he re-covered my sons seat for him. He also painted the sun visors black for me in the deal.

Here's a pic of the new seat.

Whatya think?

Looks great! We have a place here on the coast that is pretty good with upholstery, but that looks really good!

Looks real nice!

Upholstery is the next craft I would like to learn how to do. I have been looking on my local craigslist for commercial sewing machines but yet have to find any that looks like it would be worth buying.

That looks great! Upholstery is without a doubt one thing I can honestly say I will NEVER try and do.
