Side window

Searched for a answer for this but couldn.t find one.

Replaceing the rubber in my door and vents. On my driver's side, the main side glass has come out of its channel. in otherwords, it (or it did) fall to the bottom of the door. My question: is the glass glued in the metal channel? I purchased what LMC showed, but its just a 2" wide strip of rubber. I'm thinking it folds or lines the channel and the glass goes between the folded rubber in the channel. Haven't tried it yet but wondering if I need to use some sort of glue.
Any thoughts would be great...
Thanks

Re: Side window

Supposed to be enough tension between the channel, rubber, and glass to make it seal and stay in place.

You could use a little sealant if you wanted though. Just enough drops here and there to make it stay.
